In accordance with Australian Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) regulations, it is necessary for us to periodically re-verify the information of our clients. This process, known as Re-KYC, is required throughout your time with Caleb & Brown to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our records.
When and How You Will Be Notified
Approximately 30 days before we require you to Re-KYC we will notify you in the following ways;
Email Notification: You will receive an email from our team detailing the steps for Re-KYC. The email will be titled “Caleb & Brown - Account update required” and will be sent from “[email protected]” (be sure you have this email whitelisted, read this article on whitelisting email addresses)
Online Notification: Upon logging into your Caleb & Brown Portal account, a pop-up notification will inform you that it is time to re-verify your details.
Steps to Complete Your Re-KYC
Log In: Access your online portal at Caleb & Brown. If you do not have access, please contact our support team at [email protected] or use the chat option on the bottom right corner of our website.
Follow Pop-Up Instructions: Once logged in, a pop-up will appear with a "Proceed" button. Click this to start the re-verification process.
3. Complete the Form: Fill out the form with the required information.
4. Upload Proof of Address: Provide one of the following documents showing your current residential address:
- A valid driver’s licence.
- A service/utility bill dated within the last 90 days.
- A current lease agreement.
- A bank statement from the last 90 days.
- An income statement or a government-issued tax document.
If you are an American residing in the U.S., you will need to provide your Social Security number. If you reside in the United States but are not American, you will still need to provide either a Social Security Number or a Passport in addition to your proof of address.
5. Identity Verification:
Upload a Photo ID: This can be a passport information page, driver’s licence, national identity card, or permanent resident card.
Note: Your ID must be current (except for Australian passports, which can be expired by up to two years). Please upload an image of the document, not a scanned copy.
Facial Identification: Follow the prompts to upload a selfie. Ensure you remove any glasses and are in a well-lit area.
6. Submission and Confirmation: Once the selfie is uploaded, your information will be submitted for verification. Our team will update your account and confirm once the process is complete.
Continue Trading: You can continue trading as usual. If further information is needed, our team will contact you via email.
Failure to complete Re-KYC Verification: Failure to update your details may result in your account being suspended and you will be unable to trade.
