United States of America customer account update (November 2024)

As part of our commitment to providing clients with a safe and trusted environment for their crypto investment journey, we are updating our US operations.

Changes

Caleb & Brown is committed to providing customers in the US with the best possible service. For this reason, we have incorporated Caleb and Brown Limited to act as a local service provider, and US customers will be migrated to our US entity for their Caleb & Brown services.

Caleb and Brown Limited has obtained money transmitter license registrations with various US federal and state regulators. You can see all of our licenses here.

Action needed

You don’t need to do anything now, but please note that by continuing to use your Caleb & Brown account after that date, you’ll be accepting the new Terms of Business.

When you next sign in to the Caleb & Brown Portal after the update, you’ll be provided updated remittance details for future trades and prompted to acknowledge them. Any instructions you give your Broker after the 4th will also be under the new terms.

Verify your identity

As an entity regulated in the US, Caleb and Brown Limited may have different identity verification requirements compared to your existing Caleb & Brown servicing entity. Therefore, we may need to gather additional information from you to comply with US specific requirements (including your social security number or other tax identification number). This will happen shortly after the migration, and we will be in touch then to explain exactly what you need to do.

New Terms of Business refusal

After either November 4, 2024, or the date set out in our email to you, you can only access your Caleb & Brown Portal account or otherwise submit instructions to your Broker once you have indicated your acceptance of the new Terms of Business.

If you don’t want to accept the new Terms of Business, you must remove your crypto assets and funds from Caleb & Brown and close your account before November 4, 2024, or the date set out in our email to you. Please contact your Broker if required.
