An SMSF Account is an account in the name of your Self-Managed Super Fund. An SMSF is a private super fund in Australia that you manage yourself, as an alternative to industry and retail super funds.

To open an SMSF Account, as sole member or trustee of the SMSF, you will need to submit an application through our website. As you go through the registration process, you will be requested to either upload or take a photo of the following documents:

1) A photo ID - this can be:

  • A photo of your passport information page

  • A driving license

  • A national identity or passport card

  • A residency permit

2) A proof of address document - this can be:

  • A current driving license

  • A service/utility bill dated in the last 90 days

  • A current lease agreement

  • A bank statement dated in the last 90 days

  • An income statement or government-issued tax document

3) A selfie photo of you holding a handwritten note on paper, addressing 'Caleb & Brown', with your signature and the date of registration included

4) A notarised or certified as an original copy of the SMSF Deed; we require any document or pages that show:

  • The name and registered details of the SMSF

  • The country or state where the SMSF is formed

  • The names of all individuals involved, including managers, directors, members, trustees, beneficiaries, etc.

All documents must identify all of the above parties, to ensure we collect information on all beneficial owners that own or control the SMSF.

Finally, all other members and trustees besides yourself will need to submit:

  • A photo of their passport or driving license

  • A proof of address document
